The innocents and the disgrace
This article angered me intensely. In fact, it was one of the the major catalysts which made me want to write a blog. The constant barrage of news articles about attacks on women just terrifies me. The resurgence of misogynistic attitudes scares me. The attitudes to women by other women also concerns me greatly.
I am a feminist- I want equality nothing more...nothing less.
The aim of this blog to archive press articles about both the good and the bad days for woman. It is obviously a mammoth task. However, they are also for you to think about in regards to your own attitude to women, who ever you are. When you read the posts, consider whether it is a good day,bad day or questionable day for women?
If you are not aware by now the pioneering women Laura Bates set up the site The everyday sexism project. If you have not seen it-YOU SHOULD. Reading it has also made me more aware of my own language towards other women.
